Lound Infants School collected donations for their Harvest Festival this year and presented us with a cheque for £128.64 - the picture shows the school council with Doris Denton and Mick Gethin - Oct.2011  We intend to use the money to buy wild flower seeds & plants for the Oxley Orchard.

• Big Challenge team stall of refreshments at Grass sledging 2nd August 2011- They were very successful with having sold everything!

• Chapeltown Park & Community Gala 9th July 2011 - we had a great day with about 700 people visiting and lots of stalls and attractions

• Activity Sheffield brought their blow-up football pitch and Sheffield Wednesday trainers ran games all day at the Gala on 9th July

• About 70 youngsters had the time of their lives

• Seats from a beech tree in the Butterfly Glade in Chapeltown Park - down by the stream - one of them was burned by vandals in April 2011 but Jack from North Sheffield Conservation got his chainsaw out and repaired it.
